The Honda Civic Type-R (FL5) is the sixth-generation Civic Type R based on the eleventh-generation Civic. It uses the K20C1 2.0-litre turbocharged VTEC inline-four, a six-speed manual gearbox, front-wheel drive, and a helical limited-slip differential.
